Ancient Massage, like most Asian methods, is a technique used to give mankind an experience of the total body. It is similar to acupressure and Shiatsu combined with stretches and yogic Asanas. Its nickname, "yoga for the lazy," stems from Ancient Massage's ability to strengthen the customer physically and harmonize their energy so a new life experience can arise. The benefits for the massuse, however, are what seperate Ancient Massage from traditional Western styles. With the creation of flowing transitional movements and a focus on the stretches available while giving it, the massage has developed into a meditative harmonization technique for the masseuse, similar to a Tai Chi form. |
