 Classical Tai Chi, for most western eyes, has traditionally been relegated to a pass time of the fit elderly. Tai Chi's inclusion in the 2008 Olympics, however, has started a wave of appreciation and interest among the fit and flexible. The beauty and gracefullness of the form is revealing itself more and more, and people are begining to see the potential of internal eneregy. Luckily, the poweful internal side of Tai Chi, the part of Tai Chi which can not be described in words, is available for anyone who is willing to devote some time to practice. “Understanding the application of this internal energy is the first step towards creating a thoughtfull massage.” In the classical forms of Tai Chi, the body is taught how to perform interenal movements correctly, to release the eneregy of the body through flowing movements. These movements are designed to allow a person to develop this part of human experience without the interference of the mind. |

 * Foundation of Yang style Tai Chi Chuan This two week course of study, fourteen hours a week, teaches the basic body movements used in all Yang Style forms of Tai Chi. * Yang Style 24 Form This two week course of study, fourteen hours a week, teaches all movements and transitional steps of the 24 competition form of Tai Chi. Class is only available to graduates of the Foundational Class. |
